On
Sept. 3rd we played @ the 2nd IC-Musicmedia
meeting in Frankfurt, Hofheim together with MBAF(Germany) featuring Kate Cassidy
(Scotland), Priscilla Hernandez (Spain), Nad Sylvan (Sweden), Yellow Jumps Twice
(Germany) and others. When we arrived in Frankfurt after 7 hours in the car we
couldn´t find our way to the hotel so we went directly to the
"Jazzkeller" where this event took place (see pic above) and found there a very busy
stage crew "directed" by the fabulous Mike Burn trying to manage to
get two trucks of equipment on and around a not big enough stage. Soon we
enjoyed the presence of artists and musicians
from all over Europe who arrived there. A community of musicians who had heard
about each other, listened to each others music via the internet but never met
in person, found their way to the parking lot in front of the building after a
long drive or flight...to be there and talk to each other, make music or
"just" listen to others, celebrate and party.
This wonderful event showed us
all (musicians and audience) what independent music can be. Needless to say we
enjoyed our stay there a lot and wish to thank the IC-crew and esp. Mike Burn. To
provide material and with it a little of the feeling of this event for all who
had no chance to be there the concerts were fully recorded (16 track ADAT) and
filmed with 4 or 5 video cameras (not counting the private ones like f.e. Master
Zaps from Sweden). Some of this material you will find here on this page (scroll
down). Hope you´ll enjoy!

The event was covered by a lot of media (Frankfurt FM radio spots, papers, ....), the following is from a Russian (!) e-zine (translation by Vitaly Skovorodnikov):
A Yearly festival and meeting of IC-Musicmedia.com
artists
3. September 2004, Frankfurt, Germany
This event is really remarkable by the fact that it is quite a rare case when a music portal invites its acts to meet and mix together for a real
event.
Jazzkeller club near Frankfurt was booked for the event for the whole night – a typical cellar for about 200 people, musical gear and lights were brought by Mike Burn.
The Festival had been advertised in the frankfurter newspapers and over the FM-radio, so the house was full. Action started at 10 p.m. and finished fourish in the morning. The house was full of positive vibrations, people whistled and shouted for the whole six hours.
Master Zap + Nina Goddess of Dance (Sweden)
Master Zap is a 3D guru. The clips were absolutely outstanding, at the level of Matrix or Star Wars. Nina is his wife, she stars in the Master Zap’s clips, but does not perform live. The music is electronic and pop and a little bit of rock.
Eric Borner and the Band (Germany)
were playing blues acoustic songs, Eric has an excellent voice.
Priscilla Hernandez (Spain). Priscilla has started her musical career only recently, her style resembles Ennya.
Mike Burn and Friends (Germany) + Kate Cassidy (Scotland) –
is a loud driving rock-n-roll with an outstanding strong vocal of Kate’s.
Nad Sylvan (Sweden) –
excellent power pop, unusual vocals; Nad is very artistic, one should see him performing live!
Aquarian Age (Austria) –
fusion-rock, very own recognizable driving beat, their bass player is a true virtuoso.
Yellow Jumps Twice (Germany) –
is an absolutely driving brit-rock-team with female bass player and exotic drummer Uli.
In the end, there was a half-an-hour set played by DJ Space Ace (Germany).
Kristina Bode (project G.E.M.I.N.I.), Gustav Bertha from Switzerland, and
Vitaly Skovorodnikov from Russia were also at the event, but never climbed the stage.
The event was recorded in full by four digicams, now clips are being prepared.
