And news comes that Chris acted in the new Jungwirth/Payre movie called "Zeitraum" (click link for the trailer) and played a father whos son took his own life. Oh and "Run" managed to climb the Artistlaunch charts to #3 in Rock and #26 overall.

had a fine gig yesterday at Smaragd in Linz, Austria with a dancing and singing crowd and, of course,

04.27.05 Now how cool is that: I discovered some days ago that a young Austrian author wrote a book and the leading charakter listens to a band called Aquarian Age very often. That not enough every chapter starts with some lyrics of mine, and that still not enough, the chapters are all named after Aquarian Age songs f.e "A perfect day" or "Down To the top". I´m very honored!!! Can´t wait to read it!!!!

FORECAST: You might know the acoustic version of our song Perfect Day or have heard it at one of our (I
know: rare) concerts performed by our trio, but there is more to come, much more. At the moment a group of
US-production maniacs is mastering our atmospheric studio version, and believe me, thats not an easy job. On
the other hand a group of young Austrian performance and video artists are working on the text
based video for Perfect Day (you can watch the unpolished teaser of the "bar scene" here!)

04.09.05 Thank you for the many wonderful reviews of my song "Hypnotized" ("Poignant lyrically, very melodic and emotive performance", "a gorgeous tune", "love the minimalist quality. I think those are the hardest tunes to pull off", ...)! You people are great! Really!!!! Nevertheless the song was "just" a demo so I took it off the server now, but be sure it will appear - in some way - in the indiemusicscene again.
03.25.05 Fooled around with my keyboard, and though I´m not a pianist, out came a new song. It is called Hynotized and is currently available for listening on our Artistlaunch page (last song there).

12.19.04 What
happened in the meantime? We had a concert
in Linz, which was a lot of fun.
Unfortunately radio station FM4 didn´t choose our song "Questionmark"
for the last 12 in the Louie Austen contest, thats life, so I uploaded
"Run" (the collab version with Seb Diavolo) to our
site there. If you like the song, we would be pleased if you tell
them and maybe make a wish for one of
their programs.

got a new background singer: Bettina Sahl (upcoming Souldiva!) is joining

Austrian Alternativ-FM-radio FM4 has a contest
running to find new songs for the next CD of entertainer Louie
Austen. We have sent two songs (see

1996 we were making our first demo recording, for the sake of cheapness as a
test for a then new studio. The guy who recorded it was really nice but at the
end of the day (no actually night) the songs weren´t mixed too great. Anyway,
we didn´t cry to much about it cause we had already sheduled the recording
sessions for our real first CD "Birth". When planning we were also
limited finacially so we had to choose 5 songs that should be on the 22 mins
record. As you might guess we wanted to present the whole mix of styles we were
playing live, so there was only room forone "slower love song". I
chose "With My Eyes", cause the other one was too long and to
complicated to record (in my head there were real strings and choirs
and...).
Now, some years later we are in the beginning of the recording phase for the
second album. The demos are finished and I have sent some of them to Mike
Burn to master them, or better to make the very rough mixes a little more
listenable, what for ever. I don´t know why but I also have sent him this
slower love song demo from 1996. Now that I got it back I made it available online
so you all can listen. After the first two days the song called Power
Of Your Love (rado edit) charted at #20 overall and #2
in Pop.
Chris B, singer from Hongkong, said after listening: "it's a
Saturday-afternoon-starting-foreplay-before-making-love sort of song". I
think she is right.
11.21.03 OK,
the travel to a new server is now finished, the site is working and we are able
to expand.
Also, we have finished the rehearsal and demo phase for the new CD and start
recording the whole thing. Yep!
10.16.03 Ha, look at that! Down To The Top is #1 in the Artistlaunch Funk Charts and #14 overall!!!! Yeah!
08.27.03 Ok, I know we appear to be slow with the new album. What can I say, you are right. Some asked for a preview of the new songs but although I really want to show you what we have done so far I know that it wouldn´t be good to do so. But I uploaded a new "work in progress"-version of Sweet Love Of Mine at Artistlaunch with Markus Reiter on bass. Hope you´ll enjoy it.
05.06.03 We have finished recording a new song (that´s #6 now). In the meantime I deleted our old songs from the "FM4 soundpark", cause it took them over 200 days (!) to get a new song online - that wasn´t worth it. You´ll find our songs at our site@Artistlaunch.
04.11.03 Our
new bassplayer Markus Reiter finished his studies and is now "Diplomierter
Musikpädagoge", which means he got his diploma in music. The time problem
should be a little easier now. Besides that he is trying to get his own
recording studio, or lets say a newer, better one.
In the meantime Artistlauch
did a complete relaunch and is now really great. You can find a
lot of our music there!!!

07.05.02 Much has happened in the last few weeks: Because of reasons that have nothing to do with the band and therefore will not be announced here Gerold has left AQUARIAN AGE. Our new bassplayer is Markus Reiter (played and/or plays in famous Austrian and international bands like Zabine, Jimmy Wilson, Austrian Connection, Philharmonisches Orchester B'Reichenhall, some musical and theater productions and many others). With him we started to rehearse for the new CD and have 7 new songs "finished" at the moment. At the end of July we will start with pre-production. I have the strong feeling that we are heading in the right direction and that things will move forward much quicker than they used to. While rehearsals are getting more professional, they are still much fun for us - a great mixture I think! Check back for more to come! - Chris

by Mark McLaughlin. After reading the contract and having it analysed by laywers
of the AKM
("Authors, Artists, Musicians" rights organisation in Austria) Chris
decided not to take part. Nevertheless we wish them good luck for the future!
